Pride Elite Himmatnagar Opens 51-Room Hotel in Gujarat
Pride Elite Himmatnagar opens a 51-room hotel on Gujarat’s Ahmedabad–Udaipur Highway, expanding Pride Hotels’ regional presence.
HIMMATNAGAR, May 20, 2026: Pride Hotels Limited has opened Pride Elite Himmatnagar, a 51-room full-service property on the Ahmedabad–Udaipur Highway in North Gujarat, positioned 60 kilometres from Ahmedabad on the Gujarat–Rajasthan transit corridor.
The launch extends Pride Hotels' presence deeper into Gujarat's secondary city market, adding a property that targets corporate travellers connected to the nearby Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation zone as well as leisure guests passing through on the highway route between the two states.
Three restaurants across formats from multi-cuisine to rooftop grill
The property opens with three food and beverage outlets offering distinct dining experiences. Casablanca serves as the hotel's all-day multi-cuisine restaurant offering a fully vegetarian menu. Sizzling BBQ operates as a rooftop live-grill venue with panoramic city views. The 360° Rooftop Restaurant rounds out the offering as an evening and events space suited to gatherings and celebrations.
The three-outlet F&B configuration gives the hotel a competitive advantage in a market where standalone dining venues in smaller cities have limited reach. All three are positioned to draw walk-in traffic from Himmatnagar residents, not just hotel guests.
Over 7,000 square feet of banquet and event space
Pride Elite Himmatnagar opens with more than 7,000 square feet of banquet capacity across flexible venues suited to corporate conferences, weddings and social events. The scale of the event infrastructure reflects the hotel's ambition to become the leading venue for large gatherings in the Himmatnagar and broader Sabarkantha district market.
Room categories run from Deluxe Twin and Superior Twin through Premium King, Premium King with Bathtub and the top-tier Pride Suite. Business facilities include high-speed Wi-Fi and proximity to the local GIDC industrial zone, the primary demand driver for corporate room nights.
Phase 2 will add 2,00,000 sq ft Regal Lawns venue
The project's local development partner, Ajay Bhai Patel, said a second phase is already planned. Phase 2 will introduce Regal Lawns by Pride, an outdoor event and wedding venue spanning 2,00,000 square feet, designed for large-scale social gatherings, corporate retreats and destination celebrations.
The scale of the planned Regal Lawns addition would make the Himmatnagar property one of the largest event venue complexes operated by Pride Hotels in the Gujarat region, adding a format that the group has used successfully elsewhere to generate event and food and beverage revenue alongside hotel room income.
Himmatnagar positioned as a strategic corridor market
Atul Upadhyay, Executive Director of Pride Hotels Limited, said the company targets locations that carry strong growth potential, and that Himmatnagar's position on the Gujarat–Rajasthan corridor gives the property access to both business and leisure demand. "Himmatnagar, with its prime positioning on the Gujarat–Rajasthan corridor, presents a great opportunity for both business and leisure tourism," Upadhyay said.
Koustuva Mukherjee, AVP for Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Goa at Pride Hotels Limited, pointed to the hotel's highway location and proximity to industrial and business hubs as its primary commercial advantage for corporate travellers, while also highlighting the property's spa and rooftop dining as draws for leisure guests.
General Manager sets tone on service and experience
Rohit Malaiya, General Manager of Pride Elite Himmatnagar, said the property's design integrates elegance with functionality across rooms and event spaces. "From spacious, elegantly designed rooms to the meticulously curated dining and event spaces, we have created an environment where comfort and luxury blend seamlessly," Malaiya said.
Pride Hotels Limited operates properties across India under the Pride, Pride Elite and Biznotel brand families. The Himmatnagar opening builds on the group's established footprint in Gujarat, where it has been one of the more active domestic hotel operators in the secondary and tertiary city tier.
