NEW DELHI, July 3, 2026 — Radisson Hotel Delhi MG Road’s world-cuisine restaurant Lore launches the ‘7 Sisters’ Food Festival, running from July 1 to July 21, 2026, showcasing tribal and regional dishes from Northeast India. The festival serves guests nightly from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and highlights authentic ingredients and traditional cooking techniques rarely found in Delhi NCR.
The ‘7 Sisters’ Food Festival places primary focus on culinary traditions from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. Executive Chef Kush Koli curated the menu to present native flavours and textures, using ingredients like fermented bamboo shoot, axone, black sesame and bhoot jolokia pepper.
Menu Highlights and Beverages
The festival pairs food offerings with a dedicated beverage list inspired by Northeast tastes. Signature drinks include the ‘Naga Fire,’ blending Tequila Reposado with Bird Eye Chilli tincture, and the ‘Assam Collins,’ made with gin, Earl Grey tea and kaffir lime. Zero-proof options like the ‘Khasi Cloud’ feature Khasi Mandarin juice from Meghalaya.
Why the Festival Matters
The event underscores Radisson Delhi MG Road’s effort to celebrate regional Indian cuisine and cultural heritage at Lore. Northeast India’s food traditions are less common on mainstream dining menus in major cities, making this festival a rare opportunity for diners to experience distinctive dishes and beverages.
“The Northeast cooks with instinct and memory. With ‘7 Sisters’, we’re not interpreting — we’re presenting,” said Chef Kush Koli, Executive Chef at Radisson Hotel Delhi MG Road.
Prices for the festival menu start at INR 3,599 plus taxes for the non-alcoholic experience and INR 4,599 plus taxes with alcoholic pairings. Reservations are available directly through the restaurant.
“At Lore, our philosophy is rooted in storytelling. We are preserving heritage and bridging cultures by bringing authentic flavours of the Seven Sisters to Radisson Hotel Delhi MG Road,” said Ashish Saxena, General Manager of Radisson Hotel Delhi MG Road.
This limited-time culinary festival invites guests to explore the diversity of Northeast Indian food, from smoky meats to fermented and spice-driven dishes not commonly found in the region’s capital city.
