MUMBAI, July 3, 2026 —  reports revenue of ₹155.6 crore for the fiscal year 2026, marking significant growth as the premium vegetarian restaurant brand strengthens its presence across India’s major cities. The firm achieved the result amid rising customer demand for curated dining experiences and broader expansion initiatives.

The FY26 performance reflects a 47 percent year-on-year increase, with dine-in services contributing around ₹128 crore and online channels accounting for ₹15.9 crore in sales. Operating in markets including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ahmedabad, the brand broadened its footprint while deepening engagement with experience-focused diners.

Growth Strategy Drives Revenue Strength

Burma Burma’s balanced omnichannel approach underpinned its revenue gains, with physical restaurants remaining the core driver of results. The company reported an earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of ₹29 crore, up 35 percent from the prior year, reflecting disciplined cost management amid expansion spending.

Investments this year centred on new restaurant build-outs, staffing, marketing and upgraded infrastructure. Although the brand recorded a net loss of ₹14.5 crore, executives noted this stemmed from strategic investments rather than slowing consumer interest.

Market Demand and Future Outlook

The FY26 results underline strong demand for premium, culture-led dining options in urban India, where consumers increasingly seek differentiated flavour profiles and curated restaurant experiences. Burma Burma’s vegetarian Burmese cuisine and non-alcoholic format have resonated with this audience.

Earlier in 2026, the company secured $4 million (about ₹38 crore) in fresh funding as part of a broader $11 million strategy, valuing the business at around ₹500 crore and supporting future growth. This capital infusion aims to fuel continued expansion while reinforcing operational capabilities.

“Our FY26 results reflect continued customer engagement and support for experience-led dining,” said a company spokesperson. “We are focused on scaling responsibly while delivering the authentic culinary experience our guests expect.”

As restaurant chains in India expand to meet growing demand for premium dining, Burma Burma’s revenue milestone positions it among notable players shaping the country’s evolving casual dining landscape.
