COUNTY FERMANAGH, July 18, 2026 — Lough Erne Resort is bringing Christmas to the middle of summer with a one-day Christmas in July experience on July 29, featuring a special visit from Santa Claus while officially launching its Christmas 2026 holiday packages. The event gives families an opportunity to meet Santa months before the festive season and book holiday stays ahead of the year-end rush.
The luxury resort will transform its Library into a festive setting complete with Christmas decorations, seasonal displays and family-friendly activities. Children will have the chance to meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes and enjoy an early taste of the festive season in the heart of the Fermanagh Lakelands.
Lough Erne Resort Christmas in July Brings Festive Cheer Early
The limited one-day experience includes an overnight stay in a guest room, lodge or suite, with packages starting from £499 for two adults and one child. Families will also enjoy a three-course dinner at Loughside Grill, followed by a lakeside breakfast the next morning.
Guests can spend the rest of their stay exploring the resort's 600-acre estate, relaxing in the infinity pool or taking a walk through the scenic grounds overlooking the Fermanagh Lakelands.
Christmas 2026 Packages Open for Early Bookings
The Christmas in July event also marks the official launch of Lough Erne Resort's Christmas 2026 experiences, allowing guests to secure accommodation and festive packages well in advance.
Among the featured offerings is the Santa Sleepover package, which combines luxury accommodation with a festive family dinner at Loughside Grill and an exclusive visit with Santa inside The Library.
The resort has also opened bookings for its two-night Christmas Escape, which includes festive refreshments on arrival, daily breakfast and Christmas Day lunch served at Catalina Restaurant.
Resort Focuses on Family Festive Experiences

Byrne said the Christmas in July event offers children an unexpected opportunity to meet Santa while giving families the chance to plan their festive holidays early.
