The World in One Bite 2026: EAT WITH SMILE has officially opened in Bangkok, bringing together more than 150 restaurants and cafés alongside over 120 food pop-ups across Central Embassy and Central Chidlom. Running until July 12, the annual festival is organised by Central Retail in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Central The One credit cards, offering visitors a city-wide culinary showcase built around the theme "EAT WITH SMILE" and the tagline "FLAVOURS YOU CAN FEEL."

More Than 270 Food Brands Featured Across Two Venues

The festival spans two of Bangkok's premier shopping destinations, Central Embassy and Central Chidlom, creating one of Thailand's largest food events of the year. More than 150 established restaurants and cafés are participating alongside over 120 specialty food pop-ups, giving visitors access to a wide range of local and international cuisines.

Adding an artistic dimension to the event, Thai illustrator 3LANDBOY has created exclusive installations and photo spots throughout both venues. The artwork complements the festival's focus on creating an engaging dining experience beyond food alone.

Central Embassy Showcases Street Food, Desserts and Global Dining

Central Embassy serves as the festival's main venue through "The Smiling Market," spread across Floors 3, 4, 5 and the LG level. More than 120 vendors are located within this area, making it the largest concentration of exhibitors during the festival.

Floor 3, titled SMILE WITH SWEET TREATS, focuses on desserts, pastries and bakery brands from across Bangkok. Floor 4, SMILE WITH STREET BITES, highlights well-known street food vendors presented in an indoor setting while preserving their signature flavours. Floor 5, SMILE WITH SAVORY BITES, features casual dining concepts serving international cuisines and includes a dedicated seating area for Central The One credit cardholders.

Meanwhile, The Smiling Ground by Friday & Italasia on the ground floor offers MBTI Wine Test activities alongside special menus created by Chef In-Narongrit Sae Kho of Krua Baan In.

Tea Expo, Sake Showcase and International Food Experiences

The sixth-floor Open House hosts the TEA ROOM EXPO, bringing together tea brands from around the world. The same level also features SUHO Editions 01, pairing sushi with French wines for guests seeking a premium dining experience.

Visitors can access Central Chidlom through the WALK WITH SMILE decorated walkway on the second floor. At Tops Food Hall on the ground floor, Discover USA runs until July 7, followed by Discover France from July 8 to July 21, highlighting imported products and ingredients under the "Truly World Class" sourcing initiative.

Hands-On Workshops Complement Culinary Showcase

Beyond food tasting, the festival includes interactive workshops at Home Market on the fourth floor and LOFTER on the sixth floor of Central Chidlom. Participants can learn to prepare Japanese shio pan bread or customise their own croffles, combining culinary demonstrations with practical baking experiences.

Admission to The World in One Bite 2026 festival areas is free, with visitors paying only for food, beverages and optional activities. Running through July 12, the event continues to position Bangkok as a leading destination for food tourism by bringing together restaurants, cafés, artisan producers, beverage brands and interactive experiences under one city-wide culinary celebration.
