Armand Steinmeyer joins Radisson Hotel Group as VP Development Southeast Asia, bringing 15 years of regional development experience from The Ascott and Tauzia.
SINGAPORE — Radisson Hotel Group has appointed Armand Steinmeyer as Vice President, Development, Southeast Asia, effective April 2026. He joins from The Ascott Limited, where he served as Vice President of Business Development, and brings over 15 years of hospitality development experience across SEA, APAC and EMEA.
Armand Steinmeyer Appointed VP Development Southeast Asia at Radisson Hotel Group
Steinmeyer is based in Southeast Asia and leads Radisson Hotel Group's development strategy across the region. His mandate covers pipeline growth, owner partnerships, new market entry and commercially driven hotel developments across Southeast Asia's established and emerging destinations.
He joins during an active phase of expansion for Radisson Hotel Group, which currently operates and has under development more than 1,600 hotels in over 100 countries across EMEA and APAC.
Fifteen Years in Hospitality Development Across SEA, APAC and EMEA
Armand Steinmeyer's most recent role was Vice President of Business Development at The Ascott Limited, the Singapore-headquartered serviced residence operator under CapitaLand Investment. His time there was spent building development pipelines and managing owner relationships across the Asia Pacific region.
Earlier in his career, he held roles at Tauzia Hotel Management in Indonesia, one of Southeast Asia's largest homegrown hotel management companies, where he gained hands-on development experience across an active and complex hospitality market. He holds a Master of Science in Politics from the London School of Economics.
That background across serviced residences, regional operators and international hotel groups gives Steinmeyer a broad frame for how development works at different levels of the market. Owner relationships, investment structures and pipeline management look different depending on which side of the table you are on, and Steinmeyer has experienced most of them.
