Azharuddin Shaikh Joins Fairfield by Marriott Belagavi as New DOS

BELAGAVI — Fairfield by Marriott Belagavi has appointed Azharuddin Shaikh as Director of Sales, placing a 12-year hospitality commercial professional at the head of sales strategy for the NH4 property in northern Karnataka.

In his new role, Shaikh leads sales strategy and business development at Fairfield by Marriott Belagavi, a full-service hotel on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway. His remit covers corporate and leisure segments, client relationship management and market expansion across key business streams for the property.

Most Recently Associate Director of Sales at Hyatt Regency Pune

Azharuddin Shaikh joins from Hyatt Regency Pune, where he served as Associate Director of Sales across nearly three years in two stints at the property. His work there covered commercial performance, business development and key account management at one of Pune's leading luxury hotels.

Before Hyatt Regency Pune, he held the role of AGM Sales at Aamby Valley City, adding a large-scale integrated township and hospitality project to his sales experience. His career also includes time with Marriott International, Skil Travel, Citrus Hotels and other hospitality organisations, building a broad commercial foundation across hotel.
