LUDHIANA — Debjeet Banerjee has been appointed General Manager at Hyatt Regency Ludhiana. He brings leadership experience across Taj Hotels, Grand Hyatt New Delhi and The Park New Delhi to the role.
In his new position, Banerjee will oversee hotel operations, market positioning, sales strategy, business growth and administration. He reports to Lokesh Sabharwal, Regional Vice President Operations.
Debjeet Banerjee Held Leadership Roles Across Top Indian Hotel Brands
His career spans The Park New Delhi, Taj Lands End Mumbai, Taj Palace New Delhi and Grand Hyatt New Delhi. Those postings gave him direct operational and commercial leadership experience across luxury business and leisure hotel formats.
He also played a key role in hosting major international events including the G20, B20 and Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2023. His work there involved welcoming global leaders, heads of state and senior government officials to the property.
Banerjee is a graduate of the International Institute of Hotel Management. He holds a Diploma in Hotel Management and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Bengal. He has also completed certifications in Strategic Finance and Strategic Marketing for Hotels from Cornell School of Hotel Administration.
