Ganesh Tayade has taken on the role of Director of Loss Prevention at The Westin Goa. In his new position, he will be responsible for leading the hotel’s loss prevention and security functions, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and brand protocols.

His role includes overseeing safety systems, managing risk assessments, and ensuring preparedness for emergency situations. The appointment reflects the hotel’s focus on strengthening operational safety and maintaining consistent security practices across departments.

Ganesh Tayade brings extensive experience across multiple Marriott International properties. Most recently, he served as Assistant Director of Loss Prevention (Head of Department) at Aloft Bangalore Outer Ring Road, where he managed comprehensive security operations and compliance frameworks.

His career includes roles at Courtyard by Marriott Nashik, Fairfield by Marriott Pune Kharadi, JW Marriott Pune, and Courtyard by Marriott Pune City Center. This experience has provided him with exposure to diverse operational environments within the hospitality sector.

He has also played a key role in pre-opening operations, contributing to the establishment of security systems and protocols at various hotel properties.

Ganesh Tayade's Expertise in Crisis Management and Compliance

Tayade has led several initiatives related to crisis management and safety compliance, including implementation of COVID-19 protocols, International Security Risk Assessment (ISRA) audits, and fire and life safety programmes. His expertise extends to emergency preparedness training and operational risk mitigation.

He is experienced in developing SOPs and LSOPs, conducting internal investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. His work has also involved managing security for large events and maintaining coordination with regulatory authorities.
