MYSURU — Manali Gupta has been appointed Cluster General Manager for Grand Mercure Mysore and ibis Styles Mysuru. She brings 18 years of luxury hospitality experience across Accor, Marriott, Hyatt, Starwood and The Leela.
She joins from Raffles Udaipur, where she served as Director of Operations. Before that she completed an international posting with an Accor hotel in Dubai.
Manali Gupta Built Career Across Five Major Hotel Groups
Gupta started her hospitality career with The Leela through its Management Training Programme. She completed her industrial training with the same brand before joining full time.
Her career progressed through leadership roles with Marriott, Hyatt, Accor, Starwood and The Leela across India and internationally. She built deep expertise in Rooms Division and hotel operations leadership across luxury and upscale hospitality environments.
Her most recent role as Director of Operations at Raffles Udaipur placed her at one of Rajasthan's most prominent luxury resort addresses. That posting gave her direct operational leadership experience at a flagship Accor property in India.
Manali Gupta Oversees Two Distinct Hotels in Mysuru
As Cluster General Manager, Gupta will lead strategic and operational oversight across both Grand Mercure Mysore and ibis Styles Mysuru. The two properties serve different guest segments within the same city market.
Grand Mercure Mysore sits in the upscale segment and draws leisure and corporate guests visiting one of Karnataka's most culturally rich cities. ibis Styles Mysuru serves the midscale segment, catering to value-conscious travellers and business guests.
Managing two hotels across different brand tiers within the same destination demands both operational range and strong commercial judgement. Gupta's multi-brand background across 18 years covers both.

Both hotels have a strong identity rooted in culture, guest experiences, and heartfelt hospitality. I look forward to working closely with the teams to build on this foundation, create meaningful guest journeys, and further strengthen the hotels' positioning in the market."
