Manik Mehra Promoted to General Manager for Delhi and Noida Airports at HMSHost by Avolta
In his elevated role, Mehra oversees the full F&B portfolio at HMSHost by Avolta across Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi and Noida International Airport Jewar. His responsibilities cover business growth, operational performance, guest experience, team leadership and airport mobilisations across both locations.
Manik Mehra's Brand Portfolio
His brand portfolio spans Wolfgang Puck, KFC, Pizza Hut, Subway, Burger King, Costa Coffee, Chaayos, Tiffin Express, Taste of India, Smoor and Gujarati Savado. Avolta's India footprint covers more than 100 stores across four airports, making this one of the more substantial airport F&B operations leadership roles in the country.
Career Background
Mehra is an alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management Bhopal. He began his career at Taj Chandigarh and Hyatt Chandigarh. Those early years gave him his grounding in guest relations, food and beverage operations and service standards within luxury hotel environments.
He then transitioned into the airport hospitality sector, where the larger part of his career has been built. Over the years, he has held operational leadership roles across six of India's busiest airports: Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi, Noida International Airport Jewar, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport Mumbai, Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Hyderabad and Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport Chandigarh.
What Sets Airport F&B Leadership Apart
Airport food and beverage operations run differently from hotel dining. Terminals operate around the clock with no seasonal closure. Portfolios span QSR, premium café, casual dining and specialty concepts at once. Mobilising new outlets within live terminal environments adds an operational complexity that hotel F&B rarely demands.
Mehra has managed all of that across multiple airports and multiple outlet launches over his career. His promotion to General Manager reflects the breadth and depth of what he has delivered at HMSHost over time.
