Parikhit Mahanta joins Swosti Group of Hotels and Resorts as Safety and Security Manager, bringing over a decade of hotel security experience.

BHUBANESWAR, Odisha — Swosti Group of Hotels and Resorts has appointed Parikhit Mahanta as Safety and Security Manager, adding a security professional with experience across multiple pre-opening luxury properties to its Odisha operations.
Mahanta joins from Centre Point Group Enterprise in Shillong, where he served as Chief Security Officer.
Parikhit Mahanta Brings Pre-Opening Security Experience to Swosti Group
Mahanta spent over three years at Essentia Luxury Hotel Indore, a 108-room five-star pre-opening property, where he progressed from Security Team Leader to Assistant Manager – Security, taking on head of department responsibilities along the way.
Before that, he worked as Security Supervisor at Mayfair Tea Resort Siliguri, a 154-room pre-opening resort, and as Security Associate at Novotel and Ibis Chennai OMR, a 342-room pre-opening property. His earlier roles include security positions at Aloft Chennai and Radisson Blu Chennai.
Parikhit Mahanta as Safety and Security Manager at Swosti Group of Hotels And Resorts
In his new role, Mahanta oversees CCTV monitoring, public address systems, boom barriers and fire safety systems across the property. His responsibilities include emergency response drills, daily safety inspections, key control audits and access control systems.
He also manages strategic security planning during VIP stays, traffic control during VIP movements and handling of emergencies including medical incidents, fire and bomb threats. His past assignments have included coordinating mock security drills with the National Security Guard, Black Cat Commando units and local police.
Training Background
Parikhit Mahanta has completed training in fire prevention and firefighting, and holds working knowledge of guard tour systems, access control systems, visitor management systems, Vingcard and IDS access terminals.
