ITC Narmada, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Ahmedabad, has appointed Sandipan Kahali as Food & Beverage Manager. With more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, Kahali joins the property to lead its food and beverage operations, bringing extensive expertise across banqueting, guest relations, pre-openings, and multi-outlet management.
Leads Food and Beverage Operations at ITC Narmada
In his new role, Sandipan Kahali will oversee the hotel’s entire food and beverage function, including restaurants, in-room dining, and banquet operations. His responsibilities include enhancing service delivery, improving guest engagement, and driving revenue growth through structured operational strategies.
The role also involves curating dining experiences aligned with the property’s positioning, maintaining service standards, and ensuring consistency across all guest touchpoints. He will work closely with operational teams to strengthen execution and improve overall performance within the department.
Extensive Experience Across ITC Hotels Portfolio
Kahali’s professional journey spans over 20 years within ITC Hotels, where he has built deep expertise in food and beverage management across multiple markets. His experience includes assignments in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Jaipur, providing exposure to diverse operational environments and guest segments.
Prior to joining ITC Narmada, he served as Food & Beverage Manager at ITC Rajputana, Jaipur. In this role, he managed a comprehensive F&B portfolio, including multiple dining outlets, in-room dining services, takeaway operations, and large-scale banqueting functions.
Background in Multi-Outlet and Banquet Operations
Earlier in his career, Kahali held several progressive positions at ITC Grand Central, Mumbai. His tenure there covered a wide range of operational areas, including restaurants, lounges, beverage services, and banquet operations. This experience contributed to his understanding of managing high-volume operations while maintaining service quality.
His background in both standalone outlets and integrated hotel operations supports his ability to handle complex F&B environments, particularly in properties with diverse dining formats and event-driven business.
Focus on Guest Experience and Revenue Strategy
At ITC Narmada, Kahali is expected to focus on strengthening guest experience through service consistency and curated culinary offerings. His role includes aligning operational practices with revenue objectives, ensuring that food and beverage contributes effectively to the hotel’s overall performance.
