NEW DELHI — Sumit Kumar has been appointed National Sales Director East at Espire Hospitality Limited. He brings close to two decades of hotel sales and operations experience to the role, covering corporate, MICE and travel trade segments across India.
Espire Hospitality operates two brands in India. ZANA Boutique Luxury and Country Inn Hotels and Resorts form the group's portfolio as it continues to expand its national presence.
Sumit Kumar Carried Multi-Brand Sales Career Into Espire Hospitality
He joins from Royal Orchid Group of Hotels, where he served as Associate Director of Sales. His remit there covered key markets including Patna, Bodhgaya, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Lucknow. He also drove pan-India sales performance and MICE business growth during his tenure.
His wider career spans Lemon Tree Premier, Clarks Inn, Radisson Hotel Group, The Lalit, The Grand New Delhi and Lemon Tree Hotels. That range across budget, midscale and luxury hotel brands gives him a practical read on how different segments buy and book across the Indian market.
Sumit Kumar Focuses on East India Growth for Espire
As National Sales Director East, Kumar will drive regional sales growth and expand corporate and MICE business across East India. He will also work on market outreach and aligning commercial strategy with the group's broader growth targets.
