The nomination acknowledges Bahl’s current role overseeing operations linked to Howard Johnson by Wyndham in Udaipur. He is associated with Nile Hospitality and has been leading business development and operational functions in the region since September 2021.

According to the company, he manages multiple hospitality projects under Wyndham brands, including Howard Johnson, Ramada Encore, Bhairavgarh Palace and Wyndham Garden in the Udaipur region.

Operational Responsibilities and Scope

Bahl is responsible for overseeing budgeting, financial reporting and cost control measures across multiple hotel properties. His role includes directing daily operations, ensuring service consistency and aligning performance with brand standards.

Career Background and Industry Experience

Bahl has over 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with expertise across operations management, front office leadership, sales strategy and pre-opening projects. Prior to his current role, he served as Cluster General Manager at Shipra Hospitality Pvt Ltd from April 2019 to September 2021.

During that tenure, he managed hospitality and retail operations across multiple properties in Noida, Mussoorie and Ghaziabad, including hotel and mall operations.

Earlier Roles and Professional Achievements

Earlier in his career, Bahl held leadership roles with The Avenue Calangute, Radisson Candolim and The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa, where he was part of award-winning operations and repositioning projects. He also worked with Kempinski Delhi, Four Points by Sheraton Pune, Grand Hyatt Mumbai and international hospitality assignments in Tanzania.

His experience includes pre-opening hotel setups, front office operations, revenue management and guest service delivery, along with recognition through industry awards and certifications from Wyndham University, the company said. The India’s 50 Best General Managers 2026 awards are currently in the nomination stage, with evaluation ongoing.
