Naresh Kadraka, Restaurant and Bar Assistant Manager at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, has been nominated for the Restaurant Manager Award 2026, according to a nomination announcement made in June 2026. Based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Kadraka is currently responsible for overseeing restaurant and bar operations, team management and outlet performance at the Accor-operated property.

The nomination recognizes Kadraka's role in managing food and beverage operations at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, where he has been serving as Restaurant and Bar Assistant Manager since April 2024. His responsibilities include operational planning, budgeting, service supervision and maintaining operational standards across multiple outlets, the company said.

Current Responsibilities at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach

According to the company, Kadraka oversees the operations of three food and beverage outlets at the hotel, including Square, Harbour Vue and Red Bowl. He is responsible for coordinating service delivery, supervising staff performance and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

His role also includes budget planning, monitoring monthly financial performance, maintaining profit margins, controlling operational costs and supporting sales initiatives through events and food festivals.

Career Progression Within Novotel Properties

Before assuming his current position, Kadraka served as Restaurant and Bar Team Leader at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach from January 2021 to April 2024. During that period, he was involved in service operations, team supervision and guest service management.

Earlier, he worked as Senior Associate at Bheemili Novotel from February 2018 to December 2020 and as Associate at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach from April 2016 to February 2018, gaining experience across restaurant and bar operations.

Experience and Professional Achievements

Kadraka has more than eight years of experience in food and beverage operations. His experience includes staff training, scheduling, service management, strategic planning and revenue-focused operational initiatives.

He was recognized as Assistant Manager of the Year 2023 at Novotel Visakhapatnam and also received a Service Excellence Award during his tenure at Bheemili Novotel. The company said he has played a role in employee training, operational efficiency and guest satisfaction initiatives.

Education and Background

Kadraka completed his intermediate education at Narayana Junior College, Visakhapatnam, in 2011 and his secondary education at ZP High School Kurupam in 2008. He is proficient in English, Hindi, Telugu and Odia.
