Bengaluru, April 29, 2026: Ennismore, in partnership with Accor India and InterGlobe Hotels, has announced the signing of The Hoxton Bengaluru City, a 149-room lifestyle hotel scheduled to open in November 2026 on Richmond Road, marking the brand’s entry into the Indian hospitality market.

The project represents the debut of The Hoxton brand in India and reflects a growing focus on lifestyle-led hospitality formats in key urban markets. Located in central Bengaluru, the hotel is positioned to integrate with the city’s social and cultural landscape, offering a neighbourhood-driven experience alongside standard accommodation.

149 Rooms Across Multiple Categories

The Hoxton Bengaluru City will feature 149 guestrooms across several formats, including Roomy and Biggy categories, along with four HOMEY suites situated on the top two floors. Each suite spans 55 square metres and offers views of the city skyline.

The design approach follows a residential concept, incorporating locally influenced aesthetics and craftsmanship. Rooms are structured around functional layouts with a focus on essential amenities, aligning with the brand’s emphasis on practical yet design-forward spaces.

Food and Beverage Positioned as Social Hub

Food and beverage offerings are central to the property’s positioning. The ground-floor lobby will house an all-day restaurant and bar designed to function as a social hub for guests and non-residents. The space is intended to support dining, informal meetings, and everyday interactions.

A rooftop venue, Fi’lia, will operate as a poolside restaurant and bar, marking its second presence in India. The venue is planned to offer dining experiences with views across Bengaluru, adding to the property’s lifestyle-focused positioning.

Meetings and Events Infrastructure

The hotel will include dedicated meeting and event facilities under the concept known as The Apartment. This space will feature a central pantry and two meeting rooms, catering to smaller gatherings.

In addition, a larger events space with pre-function and function areas will support gatherings of up to 240 people. This dual-format approach allows the property to cater to both intimate and large-scale events within a single venue.

Focus on Cultural Programming and Local Collaborations

The Hoxton Bengaluru City plans to incorporate cultural programming through collaborations with local creative communities. These initiatives include guest chef takeovers, rotating art exhibitions under the Hox Gallery, and curated retail offerings through the Hox Shop.

The programming will span multiple disciplines, including art, fashion, music, literature, and food, aligning with the brand’s strategy of embedding itself within the local cultural ecosystem rather than operating as a standalone hospitality space.

Strategic Entry into Bengaluru Market

Bengaluru has been selected as the first Indian location for The Hoxton due to its positioning as a major urban and innovation hub. The city’s mix of global outlook and strong local identity, along with its active creative community, provides a suitable context for the brand’s neighbourhood-focused model.

The signing also reflects a broader strategy by Ennismore and its partners to expand lifestyle hospitality offerings in India. The project forms part of a growing pipeline that includes additional brand entries and developments across key markets.

According to company leadership, the launch aligns with increasing demand for design-led, experience-driven hospitality formats in India. The partnership between Ennismore, Accor India, and InterGlobe Hotels continues to focus on scaling such offerings while maintaining brand identity and operational consistency.

The Hoxton Bengaluru City is expected to contribute to the evolving hospitality landscape in Bengaluru by combining accommodation, social spaces, and cultural programming within a single integrated property.
