BROOKFIELD, June 19, 2026 — Jaipore Xpress opens a new Brookfield Indian takeout and dine-in restaurant at 782 Federal Road, offering traditional Indian dishes with fresh preparation and seating for guests.
The new Jaipore Xpress location emphasizes both quick Indian takeout service and a larger dine-in area that seats 28, making it the brand’s most spacious eatery to date. Owners say the expanded seating and décor pay tribute to Jaipur, India’s “pink city,” creating a welcoming environment for customers.
Brookfield Indian takeout and dining adds choice to community
Co-owner Jeevan Pullan said the restaurant roots trace back to Jaipore Royal Indian Cuisine in Brewster, New York, and the Brookfield site reflects the partners’ goal of combining traditional Indian flavours with fast-casual service. The menu includes popular items such as chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and tandoori chicken, prepared fresh to order.
Pullan said all dishes are made daily, with naan dough prepared each morning and cooked when ordered to avoid bulk preparation. The restaurant continues to promote online and phone orders, with many customers choosing delivery or takeout options.
Local response and economic impact
Greg Dembowski, Brookfield’s economic development and project manager, said the new Indian restaurant opening joins several new businesses on Federal Road and supports the town’s ongoing downtown revitalization efforts, which have included housing and commercial projects in recent years.
The Brookfield eatery is one of five current locations, with others in Ridgefield, Guilford and two in New York. Owners also plan a sixth Jaipore Xpress in New Fairfield, expected to open in September.
Community setting and future growth
Local officials noted the Brookfield Indian takeout and dine-in restaurant adds to a growing restaurant scene and provides residents with additional food choices. With ongoing residential development along the Federal Road corridor, the new Jaipore Xpress is positioned to serve both regulars and newcomers to the area.
