DUBAI, June 16, 2026 — Jodhpur Bar & Kitchen opens in Dubai, bringing authentic Rajasthani cuisine from India’s Marwar region to the city’s diverse dining scene with a menu of classic regional dishes and bold new flavours.

The restaurant, located at Hyatt Place Dubai Jumeirah on Al Mina Street, debuted this month with an immersive concept that focuses squarely on Rajasthani and Marwari food traditions rather than broad Indian fare. The opening fills a gap in the market for region-specific Indian cuisine outside the standard North Indian and Mughlai menus that dominate many Indian restaurants locally.

Rajasthan’s Flavours Lead the Menu

Jodhpur Bar & Kitchen’s menu highlights dishes such as Junglee Maas, Laal Maas, Ghewar Chaat and traditional Dal Baati Churma alongside thoughtfully prepared lesser-known plates designed to represent the diversity of Rajasthani culinary heritage. Guests can also order Barmeri Kebabs, Sindhi Mutton, Jodhpuri Kabuli and Thandai Rasmalai as part of a curated progression from starter to dessert.

Restaurant staff say the focus on Marwari cuisine is deliberate, intended to give diners insight into the desert state’s historical foodways rather than re-present familiar Indian mains. Service teams provide context for dishes, explaining regional origins and preparation techniques as diners order.

Heritage Interiors and Dining Experience

The restaurant’s design draws heavily from the cultural identity of Jodhpur, with deep blue tones, handcrafted details and royal-inspired decor that evoke the desert state’s architectural heritage. The space is built for both casual group dining and more formal evenings, with reservations open daily from noon through late night.

Early diners have praised the ambience and service, with reviewers noting that the combination of thoughtful design, approachable pricing and deeper regional flavours make the restaurant a standout destination in Dubai’s competitive food scene.

Why This Matters

As Dubai continues to grow as an international dining hub, restaurants that highlight specific cultural cuisines are gaining interest from food enthusiasts and travellers alike. Jodhpur Bar & Kitchen’s focus on Rajasthani cooking adds diversity to the city’s culinary offerings and gives patrons an opportunity to explore India’s north-western regional fare in a setting built around heritage and storytelling.
