BENGALURU — Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse has promoted Ganesha B to Director of Human Resources, recognising a career built entirely within IHG's Bengaluru hotel network. The promotion is an internal step up from his previous role as Human Resources Manager at the same property.

In his new role, Ganesha B leads the full HR function at Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse, a 143-room IHG hotel near Sadashivanagar with café G restaurant, outdoor pool and conference facilities. His responsibilities cover employee engagement, workplace inclusion, statutory compliance, team development and wellbeing across the hotel. He also supports HR priorities at other IHG hotels in the region, reflecting a collaborative reach that extends beyond his own property.
A Career Built Across Three IHG Hotels in Bengaluru
Ganesha B's entire hospitality career has been within the IHG network in Bengaluru. Before Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse, he worked at Holiday Inn Express and Suites Bengaluru OMR and Holiday Inn and Suites Bengaluru Whitefield. That progression across three IHG properties in the same city, each at a different brand tier and location, gives him a thorough working knowledge of how the group manages its people operations across different hotel formats.
Staying within one hotel group across multiple properties is an uncommon path in hospitality HR, where professionals tend to move between brands. It also means Ganesha B knows IHG's systems, standards and culture in a depth that an external hire rarely brings from day one.
He holds a Master of Social Work in HR and Industrial Relations from Mangalore University, an academic qualification that directly supports the employee engagement and labour relations side of an HR director role.
