FRANKFURT, Germany — Lufthansa has expanded the role of Olivier Krueger, who now leads Guest Experience and Marketing for Lufthansa Airlines in addition to his position as Group Chief Marketing Officer.
The expanded mandate brings Customer Experience, Product, Lounges, Catering and Marketing under a single integrated leadership function.

In his expanded role, Krueger is responsible for defining and executing the airline's customer experience strategy across the full travel journey, covering product development, premium services and brand marketing.
The integrated structure is designed to align all customer touchpoints into a consistent end-to-end travel experience, with a focus on customer satisfaction, brand positioning and commercial performance.
Two Decades at Lufthansa Group Shape His Appointment
Krueger has served as Chief Marketing Officer of Lufthansa Group since 2023. Before that, he spent over 20 years with Lufthansa Systems, where he held roles including Chief Executive Officer in Germany and Singapore, Senior Vice President Regional Management in Singapore, Vice President Greater China in Hong Kong and Vice President Bid Management and Marketing in Miami.
Krueger Highlights Importance of Integrated Touchpoints
Commenting on the expanded role, Krueger highlighted the importance of integrating customer experience functions, noting that consistent and well-designed touchpoints are key to delivering a cohesive travel journey.
