Sakshi Upadhyay Promoted to Director of Sales at Hyatt Regency Pune

PUNE — Sakshi Upadhyay has been promoted to Director of Sales at Hyatt Regency Pune and Residences. The move is a full internal promotion, recognising her consistent sales performance across 14 years in the hospitality industry.

She was previously Associate Director of Sales at the same property. Her work covered MICE, long stays and corporate business development in close coordination with travel managers and procurement teams.

Sakshi Upadhyay's Awards Across Her Hyatt Career

She was named Hyatt Sales Leader of the Year for 2021 and 2022 across all Hyatt hotels in India. She was also recognised as the Highest Revenue Generator during the COVID-19 period, a result achieved under one of the most difficult trading conditions the industry has faced.

She was also named Sales Champ of the Year in 2025. Her track record covers successful RFP acquisitions and high-value conference and event management across her time at the property.

Sakshi Upadhyay's Career 

Her career spans Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, The Leela Kempinski and ITC Sheraton across 14 years in hospitality sales. That range across global and Indian luxury brands gives her a broad understanding of how corporate and MICE clients buy across different market segments.

She holds an MBA from Symbiosis University. Her academic background in business management complements her commercial track record across the hotel industry.

Upadhyay will lead strategic sales initiatives, manage key partnerships and drive the hotel's market positioning across corporate, MICE and travel trade segments in the Pune region.
