Mandarin Oriental, Taipei has appointed Subin Dharman as General Manager, effective 1 May 2026.  He will oversee hotel operations of the luxury property, bringing more than two decades of international hospitality experience from multiple global markets.

Extensive Global Hospitality Experience

Subin Dharman brings over 20 years of experience in international luxury hospitality, having worked across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. His career reflects a strong track record in hotel management, food and beverage operations, and leadership roles across globally recognised hospitality brands.

Before joining Mandarin Oriental, Taipei, he served as General Manager at W Bali, Seminyak. His experience includes multiple General Manager roles, notably at The Ritz-Carlton, Bali and The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, where he led hotel operations and contributed to brand positioning within competitive luxury markets.

Subin Dharman's Career Progression: Luxury Brands

Earlier in his career, Subin Dharman held senior operational roles including Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan, and Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas and The Ritz-Carlton, Doha. These roles provided him with extensive exposure to both operational management and food and beverage leadership within high-end hospitality environments.

He also served as Director of Food & Beverage at Hotel Missoni Kuwait, alongside leadership roles with Radisson Blu, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, and Le Méridien. This diverse experience across multiple brands has contributed to his understanding of global hospitality operations and service excellence standards.
