Farnborough Airshow 2026 Reveals First Aircraft for Flying Display Program

Farnborough Airshow 2026 has unveiled the first wave of aircraft confirmed for its flying display program, offering a diverse mix of commercial, military, business aviation, heritage aircraft, and advanced air mobility platforms.
Scheduled to take place at Farnborough Airport, United Kingdom, from July 20–24, 2026, the event will feature daily flying demonstrations alongside extensive static aircraft displays for aerospace industry attendees.

Farnborough Airshow 2026 Flying Display Headlined by F-35A and Airbus A350-1000

Leading the lineup is the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team from the U.S. Air Force. The aircraft will perform on all five days of the event and marks the team's only public European display appearance in 2026.
On the commercial aviation front, the Airbus A350-1000 has also been confirmed for daily flying demonstrations. As one of the most advanced widebody airliners in service, it is expected to be a major attraction throughout the show.
Other confirmed participants include GE Aerospace's Saab 340B and Bombardier's Global 8000 business jet, highlighting both regional and business aviation sectors.

Advanced Air Mobility Aircraft to Showcase Future Aviation

Next-generation aviation technology will play an important role at Farnborough Airshow 2026. Confirmed participants include Vertical Aerospace's VA-1X and BETA Technologies' CX300.
These aircraft represent the growing advanced air mobility sector and demonstrate how sustainable aviation technologies are shaping the future of air transport. Their appearances will provide attendees with a closer look at innovative aircraft concepts attracting significant industry interest.

Military and Heritage Aircraft Confirmed for Farnborough Airshow 2026

The military segment will feature both modern combat aircraft and historic warbirds.
Heritage aircraft confirmed include the Rolls Royce Vickers Supermarine Spitfire PR.Mk.XIX, scheduled to fly on July 23 and 24, and the Ultimate WarBird Flights P-51D Mustang, which will appear on July 24.
Several military flypasts have also been announced. The Royal Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 will conduct a flypast on July 24, while the Czech Air Force Aero L-159 ALCA will perform on July 20 and July 24.
Organizers have also confirmed that the Red Arrows will not participate in the 2026 edition.

Display Teams and Special Performances

The final day will feature the Starlings Aerobatic Team and the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team.

Their displays will add excitement to a program that already includes military aircraft, commercial jets, heritage warbirds, and future aviation technologies.

Static Display Aircraft Announced

Alongside the flying displays, Farnborough Airshow 2026 will showcase a strong lineup of static aircraft.

Confirmed exhibits include DHL Air UK's Boeing 777-200LRMF, Embraer's E195-E2, GE Aerospace's Boeing 747-400, and the Do228 NXT.

The Czech Air Force will also display a Saab JAS-39 Gripen.

Held every two years, Farnborough Airshow 2026 remains a leading global aerospace event.
