IndiGo Plans to Launch Direct Delhi–Shanghai Flights

IndiGo is planning to start direct flights between Delhi and Shanghai, signalling a renewed push to expand air connectivity between India and China.

The proposed route would reconnect two major economic and aviation hubs and support business, trade, and limited leisure travel. Direct air links between the two countries have remained restricted in recent years, making any new service significant.
