CR Midnight Smoker BBQ, located near the casino construction site, said it has continued serving customers throughout the development period. Restaurant owner Greg Stoll said construction workers have become regular customers, helping maintain steady business during the project. As the casino approaches completion, the restaurant has begun preparing for higher customer volumes expected after the opening, according to KCRG.

One customer interviewed by KCRG said reaching the restaurant required extra travel because of construction, but the food remained worth the trip.
