Fire Origin and Response

Fire officials said preliminary assessments indicate the blaze began in the kitchen chimney, where accumulated oil residue ignited, producing thick smoke that was visible from the street below. Staff at the restaurant initiated safety procedures as soon as the fire was noticed, aiding firefighters in their efforts.

Firefighters evacuated patrons and staff from the restaurant as a precaution and worked to fully extinguish the fire. Delhi Fire Service personnel confirmed that the blaze did not spread to other parts of the building and there were no reports of injuries or casualties.

Precautionary Measures and Investigation

Authorities have temporarily closed sections of the building to complete smoke clearance and conduct safety checks before reopening to the public. An investigation into the exact cause of the fire remains underway, with fire department officials reviewing kitchen exhaust systems as part of the probe.
