Eco Elora at ITC Maurya, A Thoughtful Expression of Christmas

At ITC Maurya, Christmas glows with depth and meaning through Eco Elora, a festive installation at the Chaitya Lobby celebrating nature, craft and conscious living. Rising 16 feet in the hotel lobby, the Christmas tree is crafted with thoughtful design and natural materials, offering a distinctive green interpretation of the season. Symbolising renewal, balance and respect for the environment, Eco Elora is crafted entirely from natural, repurposed and biodegradable materials. It brings together pine tree flowers, shola flowers, betel nut outer skin, tad palm leaves, corn husk, dried wheat flowers, palm seeds, jute stems, dried Indian hog plum fruits, almond pods, dried wild orange fruits, moss grass, jute fabric and coconut coir rope. These elements form a richly textured composition that highlights indigenous materials and sustainable artistry. Created over 170 man-hours of continuous craftsmanship, this Christmas Tree reflects patience, precision, mindful creation and philosophy of Responsible Luxury, where sustainability and celebration coexist.
