Ibrahim Farraj Promoted to General Manager at InterContinental Aqaba Resort

InterContinental Aqaba Resort is delighted to announce the promotion of Ibrahim Farraj as General Manager, effective September 2025.

With over 20 years of rich experience in the hospitality industry, primarily within the IHG family, Ibrahim has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational expertise. He has been serving as Acting General Manager at InterContinental Aqaba, successfully guiding the team through a critical renovation phase with professionalism and dedication.

Before his current role, Ibrahim was the Hotel Manager at Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea, where he achieved all key performance metrics for 2023 and completed the prestigious IHG Journey to GM Program in 2024. He also played a pivotal role in planning the upcoming property renovation scheduled to begin this year.

Ibrahim’s career spans various leadership positions at luxury properties including InterContinental Jordan, InterContinental Aqaba, and globally recognized brands such as Kempinski and Marriott. His extensive experience across top-tier hotels has equipped him with a deep understanding of luxury service standards, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.
