Empire Aviation San Marino has added a Bombardier Global 6500 to its managed charter fleet, marking the first time the San Marino-registered operation has taken on the type and widening its already strong lineup of ultra-long-range business jets available for owner and charter use.

The aircraft carries the registration T7-EMI and entered service with the operator in late May 2026. It is a 5.7-year-old jet with a prior operating history in the United States, now repositioned into Empire Aviation's growing fleet under its San Marino Air Operator Certificate.

Empire Aviation San Marino Expands Its Bombardier Global Fleet With the 6500

The induction came with full support from the group. Empire Aviation handled aircraft registration, delivery coordination, and the recruitment and training of dedicated flight crew for both owner-use and commercial charter operations, the standard package the Dubai-based group wraps around every new managed aircraft it takes on.

The Global 6500 joins a fleet that already carries serious depth in large-cabin Bombardier types. Empire Aviation San Marino currently operates Global 6000s, Global 7500s, a Global Express XRS and other large-cabin business jets under its T7 registrations. The Global 6500 slots in as a natural complement, a step above the 6000 in range and cabin refinement, and a practical alternative for clients who want long-haul reach without the sheer scale of the 7500.

The aircraft will be based in Dubai, the geographic anchor for Empire Aviation Group's wider operations. The group holds an Air Operator Certificate in the United Arab Emirates as well and manages a fleet of business jets from bases across the UAE, Oman, Nigeria, India and Hong Kong.

What the Global 6500 Actually Brings to the Fleet

On paper, the Global 6500's appeal is straightforward. Bombardier rates its range at approximately 6,600 nautical miles, which puts city pairs like London to Hong Kong and Los Angeles to Dubai within nonstop reach. Cruising speed goes up to Mach 0.90, which means time in the air stays shorter than most comparable cabin-class aircraft.

Inside, the aircraft divides into multiple living zones, a lounge, dining or conference space and a private suite, so passengers can move between working, eating and resting without the cabin feeling like one long tunnel. Bombardier's Nuage seating, a design built around what the manufacturer calls a zero-gravity comfort position, is a standout feature for anyone spending eight or more hours airborne.

The cabin is notably quiet. Bombardier's Smooth Flex Wing technology reduces turbulence effects on the airframe, and the overall ride experience consistently draws comparisons to larger jets. Circadian lighting, a system designed to shift cabin light temperature in line with time zones, helps passengers manage jet lag on long sectors. The in-flight entertainment runs on 4K displays with premium audio throughout.

For charter clients, these are not minor selling points. When someone is flying London to Singapore or Dubai to New York in a business jet, the difference between arriving rested and arriving exhausted comes down to exactly the kind of details the Global 6500 addresses
